Naval Photographic Center film #10260. National Archives description: "Strafing ground installations from over Okinawa, (SV). Landing craft going toward beach, during strafing runs. Strafing the beachhead, fires started, ships run aground (SV).
AV Wake Island; several explosions. AV Bomb explosions, on factory bldg.; fires (SV).
AV Seaport town; sunken ships (SV); much smoke.
AV SB2C in a dive bombing run.
AV The ground; several fires; much smoke; many bomb craters. Rocket runs on Okinawa.
Note: This film does not look like gun camera, but rather hand held shot from the back of a camera plane."
